Rooms 7 and 8 girls took part in self defence lessons. This was an all day session where they learned how to use their words and actions to protect themselves. The teachers sat in on the sessions to see the girls in action. It was a great day!

Sport with Sport Northland
Sport with Sport Northland's Wiremu
Once a week we have been joining in the Leadership group run by Sport Northland. We have enjoyed traditional Maori games, often with objects from the whenua /nature. Here are a few photos of some of us at work on the field having a great time. We were stretched in our game and social skills, which added onto our class theme of "Team" this year. We played with several year levels.

Room 8 dressed up in yellow to support the National Daffodil. We each brought a gold coin to support the research about cancer. Here we are looking fabulous!
